WELCOME!

I am a novelist based in beautiful Southwest Pennsylvania. Always writing, always revising. So far, my genre of choice is literary historical, but who knows what may come next. I am gazing up at the sky for what’s next. Maybe a cozy? A rom-com? An all-out side-splitter? A retelling of a colonial-era chestnut? I’ll know the right spark of an idea when I see it.

The idea for my first novel introduced itself while I was walking my dog. The second novel came to me when I was stressing under a self-imposed deadline. A mean-spirited contemporary review of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein sparked the idea for my third novel.

So I’ve learned to keep an eye open. To watch the sparks that fly around me.

To grab one.

To feel its heat.

To carry it close and trust its light.
