MANUSCRIPT: I offer critiques of your manuscript’s first 10 pages, paying special attention to:

• Compelling writing on the line level

• Narrative flow

• Fresh, natural dialogue

• Emotional stakes

• Author’s voice

• Consistent, correct grammar and punctuation

• Formatting for publishing industry standards

QUERY: Many writers say the query letter is more difficult to write than the novel itself. Don’t be afraid! I’ll look over your query letter and make suggestions to get an agent’s attention.

FIRST 10 PAGES + QUERY + CHAT = $125

Package includes:

• A careful read of your first 10 pages and your query letter

• Detailed, in-line notes (in Microsoft Word or Apple Pages)

• A phone call or Zoom call to talk through suggested edits and plan your next steps. (Note: I can be quite chatty, so there’s no clock-watching.)

• Edits can usually be turned around within 2-3 days. Then we’ll schedule a chat.

• Payment can be sent through Venmo, Apple Pay, or Zelle.
